Nuno Vasconcelos

is a portuguese architect (born in Viseu, 1979). After 5 years living and working in Porto with different architecture offices, he moved to Berlin (2012) where he started to develop his own research about earth building (especially rammed earth), doing and experimenting with new approaches on raw earth and traditional technics.

This learning by doing process generated into DOING.pt, is a practice to develop and implement projects and ideas. Focused on the process of doing, gives special attention to the social, environmental, and educational component, working with multidisciplinary teams and close to the communities. Nowadays he is living and working as an architect and researcher on natural buildings between Berlin and Viseu (Portugal).
